Can I exclude Herpes? [genital herpes] [herpes]

Its been 2 weeks and 2 days since I had sex and the condom broke. I await the results of an STD test, but testing for anything other than genital herpes. Ive heard that the first outbreak occurs within 2 weeks, so at least Im in the clear of herpes?
Reply:How long ago were you tested? In some cases it can take up to 3 weeks for anything to show in your blood as far as STD's. I wouldn't rule anything out. I went over 2 years without showing that I have genital warts. After having my daughter last month, I found out I had genital warts at my post pardum check.
