I have a question ladies [hymen] [lips]
the hymen on a girls vigina, is that like the lips to hide the inside of you? If so, it is normal for these lips slightly open? is not quite together, but so you can see inside a bit?

This is not true. There is nothing you can do that will permanently alter the size or shape of your labia or vagina. Women come in all different sizes, just as men's penises do. In the same way that a man's penis will not get larger the more sexual activity he participates in, your size and shape will not be affected by your "experience."
The vagina and labia are very elastic, but they cannot be permanently enlarged or stretched out. Think about it, if it could be, women who give birth would never be able to have sex again! It is normal for the lips to be open, or at least to not be "stuck" together – otherwise you wouldn't be able to menstruate, urinate, or have sex!
Certainly the appearance of your labia will change as you age (as does the rest of your body!), but you are not going to be able to alter it. You have nothing to be upset or embarassed about. Everyone looks different and no man that you might be with in the future is going to care.

Reply:u matter how u look at it, youre still NORMAL!!! it suppose to be open, or how else would u have ur period every month, or have intercourse a certain way, (when youre old enough to understand). hehe. but im just sayin ur normal and dont sweat over it. i dont think guys care about what u look like, in the heat of the moment.

Reply:The vulva looks quite different before puberty compared to after puberty. It is quite normal that the inner labia become larger and stick out when they didn't before. As to how 'open' they are, that will vary with each woman, but it is normal that they be open if your legs are open.

Reply:Every women has a different sized or shaped labia. Some women have labias that are very large and opt to get a labiaplasty (cosmetic surgery to reduce the size of the labia) done. Yes, after you have intercourse you will probably notice that the labia is stretched out and opens up the vaginal entrance. It's very flexible and this isn't anything to worry about. Sometimes it can get very stretched out if it gets irritated or you have a lot of intercourse but this doesn't usually happen unless you're having a lot of sex!
Reply:k what if the labia minor which are the smaller redder lips inside the labia major are sorta sticking out? is that still normal, and why would the outside labia lips spread like that? is that caused by a lot of sexual intercourse?
Reply:The hymen is a thin membrane at the vagina's opening. Some girls are born without one and others break it during normal everyday activities like sports or bike riding. Or, it will most likely be broken upon intercourse.
The lips you're referring too are a girl's labia. There is the labia major which are the big outer lips and the labia minor which are the smaller redder lips inside the labia major. I'm not sure which you're referring to. But, regardless, it's normal for your labia to be open a little bit.
